Overview
Requests is a simple way for you to request TV shows and movies to be added to our Plex library. It uses your Plex login, so you don’t need to create any new accounts or passwords.
How to Request a Movie or TV Show
- Open the Requests Page: Go to request.christian.cash in your browser.
-
Sign In:
- For most users: Choose Sign in with Plex. Enter your Plex credentials if you’re not already logged in.
- Mom and Dad: You will click Use your Plex Requests account and enter the email and password I sent you.
- Search for a Title: Use the search bar at the top to look for the movie or TV show you want. You can often just type a portion of the name.
- Select the Title: Click on the correct title in the results.
- Request It: On the title’s page, click the button labeled Request. (For TV shows, you may get options to choose specific seasons or all episodes.)
- Request Submitted: After you request, you’ll usually see a success message or status change (e.g., Processing or Pending).
- Check Status: You can see the status of your requests in your personal dashboard once logged in. When it’s approved and processed, it’ll appear in Plex.
Browsing the Discover Section
If you’re unsure what to request or want to find something new, visit the Discover or Explore section in the Requests interface (sometimes located in the top or side menu). This area highlights popular, trending, or recommended titles:
- Trending: See what’s currently popular with other users.
- Top Rated: Find high-rated movies or shows.
- Recommendations: Browse curated lists or similar titles based on what’s already in the library.
Simply click any interesting title to view details and Request it if you’d like to see it added.
Reporting Issues with Media
If you encounter an issue with a movie or show (like missing subtitles or out-of-order episodes), you can quickly report it so I can fix it:
- 1. Go to the Title’s Page: In the Requests system, open the specific movie or show that’s causing problems.
- 2. Click the Yellow "Report an Issue" Icon: It appears at the top of the page (a yellow warning exclamation sign) near Play on Plex.
- 3. Provide Details: If a dialog or form appears, include as much info as you can (episode number, error message, etc.).

Example: A yellow exclamation icon for reporting an issue.
If the “Report Issue” button isn’t available, just contact me directly with the details. I’ll investigate and correct the issue so you can enjoy the content smoothly.
Common Issues & Tips
- Not finding the title? Try different spellings or just part of the name. Sometimes searching for a single keyword helps.
- Request Button Disabled? If you can’t click Request, it could be that it’s already been added or is pending. Check the status first.
- Request Stuck in Pending? If a request stays pending for too long, contact me. Sometimes manual approval is required.
